Als erstes, offizielles Mixtape präsentiert die Flavor Magazine Mixtape Series das Mixtape Back On The Block von DJ Yooter und J-Hood mit elf exklusiven Tracks.

Für das erste offizielle Mixtape Release hat man sich den Heavy Hitters DJ Yooter, sowie den Ehemalgen D-Block Rapper J-Hood ins Boot geholt. Entstanden ist ein real Eastcoast Mixtape mit elf exklusiven Tracks, von DJ Yooter gekonnt in Szene gesetzt. Auf das Mixtape-typische spielen von Chart Tracks hat man bei diesem Release gezielt verzichtet. So kommt bei Back on the Block ein viel stärkeres Eastcoast Gefühl auf. Aber auch auf die zum großen Teil nervigen Shouts wurde hier weites gehend verzichtet.

Musikalisch wurde sich auf das ehemalige D-Block Member J-Hood konzentriert und so finden wir auch nur ein Feature von Torch auf Back on the Block.
